Although not elected directly by the American people but by select bodies of voters, and eventually by an Electoral College, Biden calls Xi Jin Ping – elected by the Chinese National Congress, and the PC Central Committee – a dictator. Xi is the head of state of the second or first most powerful country of this world when it is threatened in its very survival. Is the US wasting the little legitimacy to claim global leadership it still has after Trump’s term?
