Just as Americans decided to emancipate from Europeans powers – Britain, Spain and Portugal – with the Monroe Doctrine (1823) and its motto "America to the Americans", it is time for Continental Europe to free itself from its 70 years dependance on the Anglosphere
For now, leaders across the developing world—regardless of regime—know that to get cheap, ready tech to improve the lives of their citizenry, China is the way to go.
